Drawing on more than a decade of inspiration, the menu features seasonal Danish ingredients that make even the most familiar dishes stand out. Come by for wine, beer, and snacks, savor the weekly evening special, or grab stellar smørrebrød for lunch on Saturdays. The doors to this dynamic hangout officially opened only a few weeks ago, and it’s already been highlighted by Politiken and Heartbeats as a place you don’t want to miss – so don’t!

WHAT YOU GET

Pick whatever you like at Forglemmigej. Try the dish of the week, which is always inspired by what’s in season. Taste specials like braised lamb with winter kale and creamy lentils, fennel à la barigoule, or British bangers and mash. Eat crispy french fries with herb mayo or a seasonal salad with endive, apricots, and stoneground mustard vinaigrette. Snack on smoked almonds, anchovies, and sourdough bread with whipped butter. On Saturdays, swing by for smørrebrød, such as lamb terrine garnished with fresh lemon zest, pickled onions, and ramson capers, or glazed beets with goat cheese, radicchio, pickled rosehip, and horseradish.
