8-course menu at Yaffa in City Center – One of Denmark’s most renowned restaurateurs is now taking this modern Middle Eastern-inspired restaurant to the next level
When this nomadic kitchen opened in 2019, it brought something entirely new to the Copenhagen food scene, and today, it continues to be a pioneer. Not only did Yaffa reenergize historic Gråbrødretorv, which has since become a desirable location for other noteworthy restaurants, but now, one of the most renowned restaurateurs in Denmark, Cofoco-founder Torben Klitbo, has taken the reins. Together with a team of chefs who trained under Bo Bech at Geist, he’s elevating Yaffa to the next level. With seasonal ingredients and flavors that take you on a journey across cultures, this modern take on traditional Middle Eastern cooking is more enticing than ever.

While some of Yaffa’s culinary inspiration dates back thousands of years, the aesthetic of the interior is timeless. Located in what was formerly a bike shop, the space was radically transformed by the award-winning design firm Frama to create a soulful and earthy atmosphere. The Scandinavian accents make the setting feel familiar, while the food draws influences from countries across the Middle East. At Yaffa, a variety of cuisines come together to form their vibrant tasting menu, as well as their wine list and colorful assortment of cocktails.
