If you’ve never ventured inside the iconic Axel Towers, the Michelin-recommended restaurant residing on the 10th floor is a spectacular reason to change that. Towering above almost every other dining room in the city, including those of its sister restaurants AOC and no. 2, Trio pairs unparalleled panoramic views with refined and innovative dishes. Chilean head chef Damian Quintana crafts a season-driven Nordic menu with whiffs of worldly influence that make it both undogmatic and undeniably delectable. As you enter through the cocktail bar and ascend the winding steps to the restaurant, prepare yourself for a meal you’ll undoubtedly remember.

WHAT YOU GET

Enjoy a 5-course menu at Trio. The menu is chef’s choice, so dishes rotate regularly and reflect the best produce of the season. Start with spheres of melon and pear in kombu dashi, garnished with trout roe and wasabi. Taste blanched baby celeriac adorned with hazelnut mole, lovage, and fermented celeriac sauce. Get sauteéd mushrooms with sushi rice, confit egg yolk, and sorrel. Savor grilled Iberico pork with katsuobushi sauce and lightly charred seasonal greens. For dessert, delight in a cardamom-infused yogurt parfait with beetroot reduction, sweet summer berries, rhubarb and rosehip sauce, and pistachio crumble.
