Their chefs trained under Bo Bech at Geist before taking the reins in this nomadic kitchen on a historic square. When Yaffa first opened in 2019, it brought something entirely new to the Copenhagen food scene. It also reenergized Gråbrødretorv, which has since become a desirable location for other noteworthy restaurants. The ingredients are seasonal and the flavors take you on a tour all around the Mediterranean Sea – from Greece and Italy to Spain. With a modern take on traditional Mediterranean cooking, Yaffa’s menu is as enticing as ever.

WHAT YOU GET

Enjoy a 7-course menu at Yaffa. The menu is chef’s choice, so dishes rotate regularly and reflect the best produce of the season. Start with snacks like grilled flatbread with lime crema and marinated Nocellara olives. Try tuna tartare with green tomatoes and fried capers. Get grilled artichoke hearts with feta cream, pea shoots, and radicchio. Taste sweet and spicy cucumber mango salad with green chili, then savor flame-grilled chicken with herbaceous gremolata, olives, and smoked peas. For dessert, delight in crispy kataifi served with housemade vanilla ice cream.
