Two kebab or falafel kombos at Killer Kebab on Rantzausgade – One-of-a-kind ‘Kopenhagen-style’ kebab with 6 out of 6 stars in Berlingske
The guys at Killer Kebab say they don’t take themselves too seriously, which the ultra-chill vibes in their kebab shops can attest to. But, if they’re serious about one thing, it’s making everything from scratch. While Copenhagen is home to a host of kebab shops, the flavors and methods at this particular spot put them in a league of their own. The proof is in the pudding – in a head-to-head competition in 2022, Berlingske crowned them the kebab kings and awarded them 6 out of 6 stars. At Killer Kebab, it hits different, and that’s entirely the point.

What do you get when you mix an anthropologist, a couple of former nightclub and restaurant professionals, and a shared infatuation with kebab? A gastronomic experience coined as ‘Kopenhagen-style’, and yes, it really is killer. The sourdough flatbreads are cold-fermented for 24 hours, the kebab meat skewers are built each morning after marinating overnight in a mixture of yogurt and signature spice blend, and every parsley-packed falafel ball is rolled by hand. Killer Kebab is by no means your typical fast food joint, and that’s exactly why you shouldn’t sleep on it.
