Much like the skilled staff, the dishes and drinks come from around the world. Here, you can get both cleverly crafted cocktails and banging bar food that spans from Spain to China. Come by for a quick round of drinks, or do a deep dive of the food menu and make it a full meal. This sister spot to Yellow is definitely bringing its own spice to the Nørrebro bar scene.

WHAT YOU GET

Pick whatever you like at Leafs in Nørrebro. If you have a hankering for something hot, get the spicy fried chicken, which is marinated for 24 hours in rice wine and Chinese five spice, then fried to crispy perfection and glazed in a Szechuan pepper sauce. Try the mushroom toast, with seasonal mushrooms cooked in port wine, served on house-baked focaccia. Indulge in dessert, like their homemade apple tart with crumble and vanilla ice cream. Explore their selection of To Øl beers and natural wines, or kick things off with a cocktail. Sip on a Whisky Sour Supreme with Japanese whisky, yuzu cordial, umeshu plum liqueur, lemon juice, egg white, and Angostura bitters. Or, if you’re searching for something strong and tropical, the Zombie has three types of rum, apricot brandy, absinthe, passion fruit, lime, and pineapple juice – but be warned, it’s so deliciously boozy that you are allowed a maximum of two.
