Tipster is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Copywriter to write dynamic material about the best places to eat and drink in Copenhagen and abroad.
At Tipster, we create curated guides to exceptional food and beverage experiences. A few times per week at 07:01, we release campaigns with once-in-a-lifetime deals at our favorite places and purveyors. On top of that, we publish The Scoop so locals can stay up to date on industry happenings, help new business ventures get off the ground through Co-Founder projects, and much more.
We are a Copenhagen-born company with international ambitions. We currently have offices in Copenhagen and New York. We are looking for individuals who share our enthusiasm for food + beverage and have ambitions to make a great impact.
Through vivid storytelling and creative writing, our new Copywriter will generate exciting content for our users in a variety of formats. We are seeking a versatile writer who enjoys working in a fast-paced setting while creating engaging, results-driven copy. Furthermore, we need a hawkeyed proofreader who ensures our texts are correctly written, up-to-date, and on-brand.
YOU WILL
- Tell the story of our partners to an audience of 225,000+ users.
- Interview founders and managers of interesting food + beverage businesses.
- Write engaging, attractive, and story-focused campaigns for our newsletter, social media channels, and more.
- Contribute to creative content ideation for larger storytelling pieces such as chef portraits, travel recommendations, and themed newspapers.
- Help to ensure that quality-driven food + beverage businesses have optimal market conditions by guiding consumers towards quality.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in English Language, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven professional experience as a confident and eloquent writer in a consumer-faced, creative industry.
- A native command of the English language.
- Creativity, dedication, critical thinking, and a passion for food + beverage / hospitality; experience working in hospitality is a bonus.
- A passion for storytelling and an understanding of which stories to focus on across different platforms.
- Able to work well under pressure with frequent deadlines and ad hoc assignments.
The position is 37 hours/week by default and will be based in our main office in Kødbyen.
