Ah, Fastelavn. The holiday that many of us long for, not because of the festivities per se, but because of the freshly baked buns that come with it. For some of us, it’s a last hurrah before Lent, but for others, it’s just a welcome reason to up our whipped cream intake. The traditions around the holiday have evolved quite a lot over the years, and so have the Fastelavn buns (‘fastelavnsboller’). To tease your tastebuds for the 2025 season, we’re dishing up the best fastelavnsboller from the last two years. Velbekomme.
